I began taking pictures of the progress of this recent painting, Lily Pad Trio, but then just got so 'involved' in that that I didn't take anymore...typical, I know. What you see above is the pastel underpainting, and below is a wash of rubbing alcohol to 'set' the colours in.
And, below is the final piece:
