I've been working lots in my sketchbooks lately. Working out some new paintings, and just doodling away. Getting re-acquainted with my pens and pencils. You might notice that the third image are sketches from my "Marigold Collection" painting. I was working out how to arrange the collection on the right, and trying to decide what elements to keep and what to drop... unfortunately a little egg did not make it into the final piece.

Very fine work...or pre-work! It's like seeing behind the curtain...turns out the wizard has a sharpened pencil, nose to the sketch book!
